6 Trends for AI in 2025
This week I ran across and interesting read about the many ways AI will be used in 2025. For most of us, especially if your in tech. We have known about AI for years.
Some of the companies we work for or wish to work for have been using AI before the hype.
But in the past year there was a shift with AI. That shift was that AI is now in the consumer hands.
Meaning everyday normal people like you and myself have the ability to use AI. With the release of ChatGPT and an onslaught of others, we now have many use cases for AI.
Which brings me the interesting read, I came across from Microsoft.
Microsoft and other players are betting big on AI. A giveaway in the IT Industry was when I started seeing AI certifications pop up.

ADVICE AND TIPS:
How to Set Your Goals for 2025
Start the Year Off Right
It's been almost 5 years, since I bought my first planner and wrote out my goals for the year. Me doing this didn't mean that, now everything I wrote down I would achieve.
What it did do was, help me to create a roadmap to follow towards my goals. At the end of that year I believed in the process of writing things down.
So every year after that I bought a planner and wrote out my goals for the year. This may be new to you, or you may think its not for you.
If this is you, I say give it a try. Take a notebook, or use a notes app on your phone. It doesn't have to be nothing expensive.
When you start to think of your goals here are some tips to help you out.
Define Clear Goals: Be specific about what you want to achieve. For example, "I want to get my CCNA certification" or "I want to reach 200 pounds" (that one's been on my list for years, lol).
Break Down Your Goals into Smaller Steps: If you're aiming for a certification, break it into steps like setting aside study time, choosing study materials, and scheduling practice exams. One thing that will start to happen at this step is this will become a habit and part of your daily routine. (Trust Me)
Find a motivator: A motivator could be anything that will inspire you to do the thing. Could be a better job with more pay. Just make sure it will keep you focused.
Create an Action Plan: In your calendar or in your planner, schedule the time to work on your goals. As we get older and have more distractions. Most of the time if its not on our calendar it wont get done lol.
Track Progress: Weekly or monthly you want to see how you have been doing. If you notice something that needs to be changed. Here is where you fine tune it.
The above steps will get you started and there is one last thing I forgot to mention..... CELEBRATE YOUR WINS
When your hit one of your goals make sure you celebrate reaching it. The way you celebrate is totally up to you.

Think and Grow Rich
Why I Read This Book Yearly
With the New Year coming in, I often like to dive into my goals and plans for the year. One way I get my mind right, is by reading Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
This book has been around for ages, there is also many different versions of this book. I like the OG book.
This book is often referred to as, one of the best books to help change your mindset. Every chapter has a different takeaway.
One of my favorite chapters that I read a lot is the chapters on Desire and Autosuggestion. This chapter has you to write down your desire and say it once in the morning then again at night before bed.
I know this may not mean much to you. But the message in this is, that by you saying your written desires twice a day. It stays at the top of your mind.
Just like the old saying goes. If you can dream it, you can achieve it.
